The Solitude in Depression

Throughout this photo series I give an inside view of how depression may present itself; showing what the outside world doesn’t see through actions such as destructive behaviors that serve as a form of release. As the images continue, depression slowly creeps up as seen in the subject’s expressions; they intensify and become vulnerable behind closed doors, giving the viewer an inside perspective of an individual dealing with depression and how their night unfolds.
